Online IM has been exploding, the days of installing an AIM app are quickly fading. GMail's integration of the GTalk was a huge mile stone, proving that the behavior model of IM can be achieved in the browser. Meebo is making this even easier, and providing possibly the easiest implementation of a chat client on any website.

Meebo Gadget

Setting up a Meebo gadget is a two step process, first sign up for a Meebo account, then cut and paste code into website... begin chatting. The process is so easy, no technical experience is necessary, I was expecting some drawn out process of JS and instantiating some aspect of their library etc but in fact, its just a simple flash object that you paste inside the document wherever.
